Petit Jete, Petit Jete, Pirouette, Sauter!

So today at work I just received a booklet which lists all of the Performances that will be taking place on campus for the year and guess what's coming, The Bolshoi Ballet who will perform Swan Lake at Zellerbach Hall in November. I'm so excited. I've always loved ballet and since I took a dance appreciation class to fill in my units before I graduated, I've admired it even more because I actually understand all the different things that go into a ballet. My favorite part being the prima donnas. Oh you egotistical ballerinas you. Anyways if anyone is interested in seeing it with me let me know, I'm going either way. It's being performed by the Russians so YOU know its got to be good. Skinny little Russian ballerinas.

Also performing/being performed at Berkeley this year is:
Medea
Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre (who will be performing Ailey's famous Revelations)
Romeo & Juliet Performed by the Stuttgart Ballet.
Cirque Eloize

There's a whole lot more of events of course but these are the ones I'd like to see.
