Exciting Times in the Life of Nuala

Can I just say that I feel like all my enteries have become "blah" lately. I mean compared to everyone else's postings, mine are just plain boring. The main reason I think this is true is because I can't write about things that happen at work, so the main portion of interesting stories that I could tell are unpostable.

So while I know most of you are all probably thinking, "Oh that Nuala one she never posts anything good anymore. She must be the most boring person alive, and nothing interesting ever happens to her." Well I just want to let you know that while interesting things may not always happen to me, they happen around me at work, and while I'm burning to post some things on the website, I would get into so much trouble if I did.

Maybe I should just resort to lying like Michele and Kristen. Maybe that would keep you all entertained and keep me from feeling like I have the most boring site on the internet.

boring!!!!

just kidding! Actually i like your boring posts. Those other people lie too much. You're more honest and a better person. Even if you do have a boring life.

just kidding! Your life is not boring, it's simply excitement-challenged.

Naw, don't listen to him.

Say, I saw a musical last night that has sort of been on my list since i was a kid. See, my older half-sister was into "jesus christ superstar", or at least i vaguely remembered the album she used to play. So anyway, I watched it. Have you seen it? You know how I hate musicals. Anyway, it wasn't horrible. I liked the first 30 mins, then it got a bit tedious. The judas character was the strongest performance. Jesus sucked, and so did Mary. My favorite scene was near the beginning, with Judas on the mountaintop crumbing the dirt in his hands while cursing jesus. The Judas guy had a good voice and was good at delivering drama. Anyway, if you get bored, you can rent that, if you haven't already seen it. A friend of mine has seen it 10 times. He's kind of weird though, like you.

maybe you could post your work stories, just changing all nouns and pronouns so no one at work would no it's about them...but WE'D know the truth!

or you could just email us the stories, like michele suggested.

ps. you're site's not boring. mine's boring. ;)

I love your kitty stories, since I have no kittles of my own anymore. Ribbon's a great name!

And, everyone's blog is boring - if we all had fabulously interesting lives, we wouldn't have time for blogs.

Yes I suppose that is true (what Robyn said) I like my cat's name too.

Jade, your site is not boring.

Aaron, I haven't seen Jesus Christ Superstar. I can't believe you even tried to watch it you musical hater you.

I can't post about things at work because I've signed confidentiality agreements so I can get sued if they know I said something I shouldn't have. And while I could email you all, it's not the same as having something fun and interesting to POST.

ho hum....

aaron, i've seen it! me me! it was on television once and so i watched it.

now...is that a boring story or just a lie?

Posted by: michele on December 8, 2003 08:07 PM

I owe you an apology. I didn't mean to imply that you were a liar. I only meant that you stretch the truth beyond recognition. All that stuff about working in a circus, etc. etc. Yeah, right.

PS. I like you're guys stories, even if they are made up. It's fun to guess whether or not they are true.
