Jem and the Holograms, the complete first AND Second Season is on DVD.
Now all my life needs to be "truly truly outrageous" is He-Man and She-Ra on DVD. My inner eighties child screamed with delight with the discovery of Jem on DVD. What will she do if and when She-Ra makes the leap to DVD? (Princess of Power! grin!)
no way! no way!! i recently discovered 'dr. quinn medicine woman' is out on dvd and laughed myself silly. but this is 10 times better!
Posted by: michele on April 6, 2004 07:19 PMI know! I screamed, "Holy Crap" out loud at work when I saw the ad for Jem in the magazine I was reading. I was so freaking pleased
Posted by: nuala on April 6, 2004 07:22 PMJEM!! Yes!!
That's possibly the best news I've heard all day, or all week for that matter!
It always surprises me how often I find myself reminiscing with some friend or other about Jem. It was truly a staple of my youth. And now it can be mine!
But the misfits had better songs, I always thought. Green and black, baby. Green and black.
ooh, what about live action wonder woman? i bet that's out. i better check.
Posted by: didofoot on April 7, 2004 07:57 AMdude....the hours spent watching that cartoon, i used to have a little crush on her boyfriend with the purple hair. i love that someone decided to release Jem on DVD..eighties nerds are the best.
Posted by: Ady on April 7, 2004 10:32 AMholy crap. so, basically i've been watching the first disc with my mouth hanging slightly open in shock.
"show's over, synergy."
am i the only one who's gotten it from netflix and been re-watching?
Posted by: michele on April 16, 2004 08:37 AMNo it's totally on my list, but I just haven't gotten it yet.
Posted by: nuala on April 16, 2004 09:46 PMThat's because Michele has had it for 6 months. You can't expect them to have more than one copy! ;-)
