Talking like Michele talking like Kristen

Since I've arrived home I've noticed that I've been talking like Michele. I'll be talking like my normal self and all of a sudden a phrase pops out of my mouth that is so Michele. It's almost like she's still here. I've also found myself doing her hand gestures and have to physically stop myself. It's slightly amusing and a little strange. It's even sillier when I'm in the middle of a conversation with someone, I say something like Michele or something she would say and I stop myself and go, "That was totally Michele." I have to give credit where credit is due.

Basically I miss her. And Kristen as I haven't seen her in a while so I don't even know when I'm talking like her anymore. I should make a trip up. Yes soon I should make a trip up to see the girlies. Sillness to be had by all and I can continue to talk like them both and take credit for their funniness.

Quotes

I've been out of touch for almost a week due to the fact that work lost internet access and I have none at home. So sad. But I'm back. Not with any pictures yet but I do have quotes that I wrote down during the trip when I found something funny. Mostly they are Michele being funny, which she is no matter what anybody may say....ahem:

"Are you sure you don't want to jump off that thing?" 11/18/05 - Auckland (The answer was hell no I don't wan to jump off that thing. I'm sure.)

"Swim out there and get me a sailboat!" 11/18/05 - Waiheke Island

"Okay, I'm going to be up here in my undewear." 11/19/05 - Auckland

"Me & my underwear just don't want to move" 11/19/05 - Auckland

"Stop staring at my underwear you perv" 11/19/05 - Auckland

"I wish I had someone around to record what I say all the time." 11/20/05 - Queenstown.

Nuala - "You look good in that picture."
Michele - "That's because I'm on a horse." 11/22/05 - Queenstown.

"How fast are we going? LIKE THE WIND!" 11/25/05 - Wanaka (we were actually paddling on Lake Wanaka at about 1/8 of a mile an hour, so very slowly, not at all like the wind.)

"Old people don't die!" 11/26/05 - Fox Glacier

"I like being here because it makes me feel like I'm funnier than I am." 11/26/05 - Fox Glacier

"I would be upset if I looked out my window and saw someone petting my sheep." 11/26/05 - Fox Glacier (She said this as she said we had to go as we were petting the sheep as she was afraid someone would get mad at her for petting him.)

"You could, but you'd die." - Troy 11/27/05 Franz Joseph Glacier

Random New Zealand sayings:

Cheers
Yea, yea (said constantly as you tell a story)
No worries
Bro (this is everyone per Troy, he even calls his mom bro)
Ta (I have no idea when you would say this, but they say it.)

Wait For It

The following was written after Michele and I got back from the Basement Bar in our hostel. I make no promises that it will make any sense or be funny to anyone else besides me and Michele.

Michele is drunk. So am I. Tonight was fun. The wind is howling.

This entry will make no sense and I am skipping spaces. Michele is

writing how she thinks I am a good dancer
(I wasn't making this up. She was.)

I am not. Krista, Annie and Brittney are great dancers. I am mediocre.

Tonight was fun. (Yes I said that twice.)Exactly what I was looking for on a Saturday night in Wellington.

First we went to bar with no atmosphere with a man who sucked and hit

on us and made no sense. But good drinks. Then we went to the

Basement bar and got drunk. Michele got drunk first. (After this I cannot descipher my own writing for a little while.)

It is still loud outside. The party is still going on. Michele

said....I don't know what she said she interrupted me. She just took

video of me dancing which no one but Kristen will see. (This had better be true as I will kill Michele otherwise.)

I miss Kristen. Why isn't she here? Stupid. We should all plan a trip

together. I miss all three of us together. But I doubt I will ever

move back to SF. So Sad. So happy now. (It becomes more incoherent at this point. This entry is almost worse than leaving messages on someone's phone when you drunk dial.)

Michele is out of pictures. Silly her. Bed now. Everyone will

laugh at this writing (as it is so stupid.) Especially if

they could see my writing. (You wouldn't be able to read it if you could see my writing.)

End of drunken ramblings.
