For those of you who are not aware my birthday has officially begun. I've uploaded some photos from dinner tonight as well as pictures from when Mom visited last weekend.
If I'm lucky I'll remember to take photos tonight to share with you later. Now I must go to bed as I start work at 7am today.....what was I thinking?!
My sister is 23 today. Can everyone say, "when did that happen?" Cause I don't know. I'm turning 25 and I think that is just insane. But wait this isn't about me this is about my baby sister.
Happy Birthday Ady. I'm slacking on the present as I haven't been able to think of anything good enough to give you. I will get around to it though. Maybe I'll just give it to you in person when I see you in Sept. But yes, 23 today. Weird huh? You're still 16 in my mind somehow. Course I'm still 16 in my mind.

And I wasn't even drunk....this is what I get for hanging out with Frat boys.
Krista and I went out with Sonjia and her friend Christine. We hung out at Blue Agave first for drinks and then we headed to Madison's to dance. Christine had forgotten her license so she and Sonjia headed home to go and get it but of course never made it back.
Krista only turned 21 a couple of weeks ago and this was her first Saturday in Santa Barbara going out so we decided to stay. We ran into Angad who Krista knows and I met while we were in Vegas.
Anyways so we were dancing having a good time. Angad was getting Krista and himself drunk. I was designated driver tonight so I was being a very good girl. And then this big built black guy (according to drunk Krista, "this guy was huge!") taps Angad on the shoulder. Now Angad is pretty built but no where near as tall as the guy behind him. So....Angad turns around to say, "yes?" and the guy pushes him. Now at this point I'm right behind Angad and then the next thing I know Angad gets punched in the face and I get hit in the forehead by the back of Angad's head. I'm amazed I didn't fall on my ass with the heels I was wearing. It's funny though. You know that sound that you always hear in the movies when someone gets punched? The sound of knuckles hitting flesh...well I actually heard that sound over all the music when Angad got hit. Weird.
After that first punch and my knock to the forehead the boys were wreastling and hitting each other on the floor. I got pushed back and then in a typical what else could go wrong fashion I was in the bouncer's way, so he decides to push me around some more on his way to the punching boys. I felt like a freaking sack of potatoes getting moved around.
We're still not sure exactly why the fight happened. Krista thinks it might have been a frat thing. Whatever....Angad was too drunk and pissed off after the fight to really try and explain it.
After it happened all I could think about was sharing it with you all because I found it so damn funny. I'm fine by the way no bruise or anything. Although I think that would make it even funnier. I must have a really thick skull.....
Lately, between Vegas and Sonjia dragging me out it may seem like I'm turning into some big partier. It even seems that way to me as I write down what happened tonight, but honestly I go months without going anywhere. Lately it has just been the roommates bdays that have tipped the scales. God help me with my birthday coming up and the girls threatening to take me out. Things could get dangerous. I'll be sure to keep you all posted and I'll try not to add cat fight to my list of things I've done.....
Oh what fun we had. Most of you probably didn't know that I was going to Vegas, but this trip had been planned for a while. It was for my roommate Krista's 21st bday which was on Tuesday, August 3rd. I have four words for you readers out there:
Hot Australian men taking their clothes off. Again, oh the fun we had. Krista at one point was dragged off stage and made to participate in a contest of who could fake orgasm the best. She got a free thong and poster out of it. And we laughed our rear ends off. Krista's friend Britney was also taken on stage where she got to feel up hot boy Michael. (in the picture, see link below, Michael is the one on the end standing on the left) It was Hi-Larious. Krista was also in lust with the host Marcus (she's sitting in his lap)
But the Vegas was not all about hot male bodies. Oh no. I know, I know you all think that is crazy talk but it wasn't. It was also about losing money, hangovers, lots of dancing, massages and sitting out by the pool.
For those of you want details we stayed at Treasure Island. Seven girls in one room. Freaking hilarious. It was wall to wall clothing. No closets needed. Floors are much more practical.
Krista's Mom, Dad and Stepdad came along for the birthday ride. Krista's dad and stepdad would take turns walking with all 7 of us girls and feeling like the man. It was very funny. They are good people and deserve a thanks for everything shout out on cementhorizon.
Some of the places we went out to were Coyote Ugly at New York, New York and Studio 54 at the MGM Grand We also went to the Rum Jungle one night. All and all a fun time was had at the bars in Vegas.
Mainly it was a lot of time spent checking out the hotels, sleeping by the pool and eating...a lot. I've posted some pictures from the trip as well as the picture we all took with the down under boys. hee hee. (the picture did not scan great, but you get the idea) We made them sign the shirts we were all wearing too. (Krista made the shirts for us all to wear....so silly)
As a side not to Michele, Krista went to see Zumanity and highly reccommends it. I just thought you might want to know since you had wanted to see it so bad....
