Finally! I just got my new laptop yesterday and I've been having trouble ever since trying to connect to the internet. I must have spent a total of 4 hours on the phone with Cox Communications and Dell trying to figure out what the problem was. Cox kept telling me that the cable was fine and something was wrong with the computer and Dell kept telling me that the network card was fine and it was something to do with the cable connection.
Finally tonight someone at Cox knew what he was talking about and he fixed it and now, now I have internet on my new Dell Inspiron Laptop. I am so excited. yea!
I can now burn cds, watch dvds and puruse the internet all while sitting on the couch. After hours of frustration I am now a happy girl. Yea me.

That sounds so fancy: the laptop, the couch, you... what about Ribbon? It would a really be great if you included more information about Ribbon, regardless of the story you're telling and whether or not Ribbon was directly involved, or entirely out of the picture. Like, “I went shopping for a new dress today. There was this awesome skirt on a manikin in a Mervin's display window. Ribbon wasn't with me. I asked the manager if I could undress the manikin in the window. Ribbon likes wet food. The manager said it would be ok. Ribbon likes dried kibble too. I removed the skirt from the manikin, and discovered to my delight that the there was a red price tag on it, so it was half-off the regular price! Ribbon. It was only $15 and it really goes well with my fluorescent pink combat boots. Anyway, Ribbon, Ribbon, Ribbon, and it also matches my green mohawk.” That’s the kind of Ribbon-detail we all wish to hear about in your stories.

Nope I'm just not in the bay area anymore and not at my computer every morning to update the site. The best thing to do is to join the Yahoo Alice group. They email out the word of the day everyday in case you miss it.
