I went down to Santa Monica on Saturday to visit Long Hai for his bday. We spent some time catching up and his roommate Chris provided lots of banter and comic relief. Later that evening for the main event we went to Lucky Strike for dinner and bowling. I got to meet Long Hai's frat buddies from USC. Boy was that entertaining. Me and about 15 boys. Although there were three other girls I was the only white girl. That was a little bizarre. I'm not used to being the minority. It was an interesting experience, but a very entertaining one. I actually managed to bowl over 100 which was a great accomplishment for me, however anytime I was actually beating Long Hai he pulled out a few strikes while I messed up and continued to miss that last damn pin.
The rest of the night was spent with a drunken Chris and Long Hai making fun of each other and making me giggle like an idiot. All and all it was a great couple of days. Although the boys are a little too obsessed with Fight Night on the playstation, but I forgive them. It's not like I have much better hobbies. But I still don't get the point of playing sports on video games. It seems silly to me. I get the role playing and the violent gun games but not the sports. Maybe I'm just weird.
I also went to Billion Dollar Babes Sale and spent too much money on some great jewelry from Maya Brenner and Zoe Chicco. I am so broke but oh so happy.
Anyways. Happy Birthday again Long Hai. It was really good to see you. When are you and the gang coming up to SB?
