Hi Nuala. It makes me so happy to read that you hiked the glacier! Or as they say it, Gla-Cee-Eeh. I am sure you were facinated by this pronunciation as well.

You make it sound very simple about the Gla-Cee-Eeh. But I know how hard it is to climb that sucker. IT'S REALLY REALLY HARD. I'm talking CHALLENGING! Good for you :)

The glacier hiking was actually fun. My legs hurt like a bitch the next day, but totally worth it. The guide had fantastic looking legs. Now I know all I have to do to get legs that look like that is become a ice climber. Who knew?

ha ha ha! the pronunciation was awesome! troy kept saying things like, "i never thought i'd be a gla-cee-eeh guide when i grew up." and i was chortling with laughter and just kept demanding he give me back the ax.
